Auburn coach Gene Chizik and his then-new coaching staff were still playing catch-up in putting together its recruiting class last year at this time. This time, Chizik and Co. can pause to look at the future.
With its 2010 signing class in good shape, Auburn is playing host to as many as 45 high school juniors today, or the guys who’ll sign in 2011.
The reports from our Internet friends say a lot of top high school palyers in Alabama who’ll be seniors next year are in Auburn. A nice group from Georgia is on campus, too. AuburnSports.com says two of the top quarterback prospects from out of state are also visiting: Kiehl Frazier of Springdale, Ark. and Jeff Driskel of Ovideo, Fla.
