Trovon Reed making a fast transition


Trovon Reed
was so good in high school that he was named the No. 1 player in Louisiana while playing out of position.

The former Thibodaux quarterback is making a smooth transition to wide receiver at Auburn, so much so that he has gained preseason buzz from veterans who worked with him, and coaches who received the scouting reports, during the long, hot summer.

“Trovon has come in and pretty much kicked the door down,” said quarterback Cam Newton.

“He runs great routes and he’s pretty fast,” said defensive back Demond Washington.

“He’s blessed with a lot of ability,” said receivers coach Trooper Taylor.
